With an opportunity to work in the field, supporting customers with all types of situation, you will have the opportunity to work at customer premises and 3rd party sites inspecting, removing and replacing tyres as directed whilst providing efficient and effective customer service, with the highest level of workmanship.

Soltyre will support you in this role with relevant training which will include Vehicle Tyre Fitting and Roadside Breakdown

Soltyre are looking for a trainee commercial tyre fitter for our Dumfries Branch.

This is a physically demanding role and the successful candidate will be removing and refitting car, van and truck tyres on site at our Dumfries branch.

If you are interested in joining our team you will need to have the following skills:

  • Full current UK driving licence
  • Some work experience, preferably from a manual background
  • Well mannered with customer service skills
  • Be positive and upbeat with a can do attitude
  • The ability to learn and be able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team

The Role

The successful candidate will work as part of our Head Office Admin Team.

The role of Office Junior has been created to support the service & administration team, in the delivery of excellent customer service.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities 

Your main duties will include:

· To be the first point of contact for customers and Technicians, answering telephone calls and emails.

· To telephone customers and confirm timelines for service.

· To manage general departmental administration duties e.g. filing, scanning, photocopying etc.

About the BDM role:

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for the driving the overall commercial performance of your area . You will be comfortable in a customer facing role; Our BDM ‘s are frequently involved in bidding/tendering for new business and conducting service reviews in partnership with our commercial team or branch managers.

As our BDM you will provide operational and sales leadership to our team
